Good Day to you, friends of Freedom in Christ!

The last two months have been a blur of activity my friends. I am officially trained and allowed to move through MSP with minimal escort. Currently, Freedom in Christ is used by the Religious Affairs Coordinators to provide two or three “Lutheran” Bible Studies each week, a Lutheran Liturgical Worship Service each Wednesday, and I am in the rotation to provide Non-Denominational Christian Service once every four weeks. The learning curve during Lent was an interesting hill to climb, what with scheduling, getting to know staff and “the guys,” and advertising that I am the “new Lutheran” guy on the block to everyone so that they know we are still a presence in the prison.
